Terms & Conditions apply

Something doesn't sound quite right here:

A man who has sex with a girl under 16 can be charged with statutory rape, even if she agrees to it.

However, if a young boy between 12 and 18 consented to sex with a grown woman, the law doesn't say it is an offence.

I've always thought this particular code extends both to females and males alike, but now I know better.

Looks to me like in the eyes of the law, males are still very much regarded as the stronger sex.
