Jagged Little Red Dot

Someone shd tell the Visa ppl that Singapore is no longer shaped like that.
This was how I’ve always remembered it to be from the social studies textbooks. And that was some 18 years ago.
I used to love poring through maps when I was young but these days, I usually only look at street directories.
Recently though, I happened to come across an overview map of our island – an updated one - and I hafta say, I was actually a ‘lil taken aback by how unfamiliar it now looked. The shoreline has grown so angular and the eastern and western ends are stretching out so much they’re beginning to resemble claws.
Fierce.
