¥1.99 for a plate of sushi it reads.
So I had to probe further even though I know it was unlikely the case.
U cld say I was just looking to make a point.

From the row of flower stands displayed outside, I gather it was opening night at Uma Uma Men restaurant. Which explains why the lady boss was there to personally greet the customers. Don called her over and I took it from there.

"Is this for real? Your sushi is dirt cheap!"

She didn't get it.

"¥1.99. That's not even...what...10 cents?!"

"oh oh oh...err...no lah no...it was just for fun...because this is a japanese restaurant...we thought...ya"

If u ask me, they're just putting themselves up for a challenge.
